An artist had always been told to be quiet. Some family members, his teachers, his friends - everyone had insisted that he is too loud and that he should keep his mouth shut. He was a bright kid, but he wasn't allowed to share his ideas or insights; he was taught to bottle them up inside. As he got older, the artist became more and more frustrated. He felt like he had something important to say, but no one would let him speak.
The artist started using drugs to self-medicate; anything to help him forget how suppressed he felt. He became depressed and withdrawn, and it seemed like nothing could bring him back to life. One day, however, the artist had a near-death experience. In that moment, he realized how precious life was and how much potential he still had. He also realized that he deserved to express himself - no matter what anyone said.
When the artist woke up from his coma, he found his voice again. He started speaking out about the things that mattered to him and refused to be silenced anymore. Even though people tried to tell him to shut up, the artist now had the strength to stay in his power.
